Guys,
we should not be scared off Ethiopian Muslims,
they are part of us, I got family members who are muslims,
we are mixed society.
I am sorry to say, Muslims have been discriminated for long time
and continued under woyane.
Before ethnic issue took over during Hailesilasie,
the issue of christianty and Islam was the main political drive for centuries,
leaders from both faiths used to use religion to get outside support.
but now, muslims rights is wrapped under ethnic groups, basically irrelevant.
in fact the regime is busy converting muslims into pente,
also wakafecha is disappearing, really sad.
For me, if any religion or custom and traditions are not harmful, should be preserved.
the same goes to languages, cultures, etc.

To Oromo opposition political leaders, elites and activists!

There is no Ethiopia without Oromos, there is no [one Oromos] without Ethiopia.
We all know the diverse nature of afan Oromo speaking people, Oromuma can only shines within Ethiopia.

The last few months and recently, Oromo opposition leaders have lost enthusiasm and withdrew back into their shell.
We know the road ahead is zigzag, instead of sitting in the driving seat, they sat in the back seat of fast moving train gossiping about other passengers who sat in the front seats of the train celebrating hoya-hoye.
If Oromos had led the direction, there would not be a vacuum to be filled, so, they can only blame themselves!

The other day I watched Jawar and Prof Merera onstage gossiping I think in Germany, prof Merera was giving example saying... betrayal in the past, individual leaders with Oromo blood either they themselves fallen victims or destroyed fellow Oromos. He started with Lij Eyasu, he mentioned Lij Eyasu being Welo Oromo basically slaughtered by Hailesilasie who himself was 75% Oromo. He mentioned Mengistu Hailemariam Wolde Ayana another Oromo who butchered Teferi Banti, Haile Fida and many elites of oromo. Prof Merera was trying to say.. Abiy is no difference. Jawar on the other hand was saying that... this time they got nobody to blame but themselves, no blaming God, no blaming Amhara, nobody to blame. According to Jawar... this is the best opportunity to grab Oromos question with both hands.
Which is why Oromo opposition leaders are returning home faster than wind. Whereas zegemtegnoch Dergies are busy waving flag. Illiterate ESAToch have no road map for future Ethiopia other than clapping for Abiy or glorifying the past regimes.

very nice conversation, good explanation by the sheik and wonderful journalist Abu Alemu.
really injustice has been done against our muslim brothers and sisters,
people talk about ethnic suppression, as amhara the area I grew up 90% muslim oromos,
during derg, I did not notice ethnic suppression or repression, everybody spoke afan oromo,
but muslim discrimination was visible, there was no adequate mosque in the area.
perhaps ethnic discrimination was more visible in the highlands area.

During woyane, Pente businesses have been booming,
congregational churches popping up like mushrooms everywhere,
many claimed to be prophets curing all kinds of diseases,
the question is, why the muslims do not have the same rights?
why there is no a single mosque in Axum? what are you so scared off?
even Saudi Arabia is liberalizing.

Subversive!
Shame on you Ethiotube. At least, let ppl hear the other side too. What's your intention in doing this interview? You want to put more fuel on an existing fire?!
Btw, is public election allowed in Islamic Law? Even in Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism....etc, not allowed.
May Allah this againts you on that day! Amen!
