When a small Vancouver mining company Nevsun struck gold in a remote corner of Africa, it started with so much promise. In remote Eritrea, Nevsun built a mine that was generating $700 million in profits in its first four years of operation. But it was also generating a lot of controversy – because Nevsun was partnered with a brutal dictatorship that runs the country and controls 40% of the mine. That has led to allegations by the UN and Human Rights Watch that the regime has used conscripted military labour in the mine. The Eritrea government has also been accused of funneling arms to the terrorist group al-Shabaab. Nevsun denies the allegations of human rights abuses and insists it is a “template for responsible international business.” What is the price of doing business with a dictator? Mark Kelley investigates.

UN and Human Rights watch = George Soros. Wants a piece of the action and can't get it... I worked at Canadian, Allana Potash's Danakil mine before it was bought by an Israel company. They have since closed the project down, refusing to pay tax owed to Ethiopian Gov. We can all draw appropriate conclusions why Nevsun is a target? UN and HRW, etc, seem very happy to partner with dictatorships in places like Guinea.

Modern day slavery cannot be executed unless you bribe Canadian authorities who would in turn torture scam targets in the United States. I do not bow down to White House., Capitol and Virginia where the latter is state of potato and punks.

Welcome to slave bidding by gangs. Obama a rich slave master with estates., Did you know that? El Chapo and HU would commence. Do not speak up against Fraud and MS-13 if you want to remain alive.

Eritrea has been the cancer of Ethiopia for the last 200 years, all the wars happened around that area. Furthermore, all the rebels including TPLF, OLF, ONLF, Ehapa created by Shabia, even now Shabia continued creating rebels such as Benishangul Liberation front, Gambella Liberation front, etc. and yet, Essayas pretends to support the unity of Ethiopia which is a lie.
