Ethiopia will target a second victory in Group J of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations when they face Seychelles in Victoria on Saturday. Kick-off at the Stade Linite will be at 14h30 CAT.

Walia Ibex opened their qualifying campaign with a 2-1 home win over Lesotho in Bahir Dar back in June, with Gatoch Panom and Saladin Said scoring their goals.

Ethiopia’s Turkish-based defender Walid Atta has warned Seychelles that his side is targeting another three points.

“It’s nice to note that Ethiopia won their first game against Lesotho and I believe coach Yohannes Sahle has come up with great morale to the team, giving them a great urge to win important games. We cannot underrate Seychelles but we will be going there for nothing short of a win,” Atta told Soka25east.com.

Seychelles, meanwhile, got their campaign off to a losing start when they were crushed 4-0 by North African heavyweights Algeria and will be looking to restore some pride when they face the Walias.

Comoros referee Ali Adelaïd will take charge of the match in Victoria on Sunday. The other Group D match this weekend sees Lesotho host Algeria in Maseru on Sunday.
