YES! IT IS VERY TRUE. LETS NOT FORGET ALL THOSE WHO DIED TO DISMISS THE MENGISTU GOVT. THOSE PEOPLE WERE IN THE FOREST AND WHAT HAVE YOU. WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES AS THEY WERE SITTING ON A GUN. THEY CONFRONTED MENGISTU RIGHT THERE IN THE CITY. THOSE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE FORGOTTEN. ETHIOPIAN TV CURRENTLY IS TALKING OVER AND OVER AGAIN ABOUT THE EPDRF STRUGGLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN. NOT FAIR AT ALL!!!

Melese is not any different than Mengistu. I don't think he cares for Ethiopian people. Why would he care. He lives in the palace and have a great life. Does he care about poor people and the joblles people? No! This professor is making me proud. When other people are hiding and saying nothing because they are scared of loosing their houses and the benefit they are getting. He is saying the facts about Ethiopia. Those people who are quite are not supporters of Meless. They are just scared of everything. Not this Prof. He is not a trader. He is telling the truth. We all know that the truth is very hard to swallow. You go Prof Gebremariam!!! You should be rewarded and recognized for telling the truth. You said it on a national TV when others are talking about it behind closed doors.

My question is for MELESSE. How along are you going to be the leader of Ethiopia??? Forever? Remember, your party is not the only one who worked so hard to get rid of MENGISTU. It is a struggle of so many people. Time again and agin, Etiopians lost their lives to dismiss Mengistu from his power. Lets not forget that. Are you planning on staying in your power forever? How stupid is that? Please, let other people get a chance to lead our country. Give a chance to another person. You did your part. Time to go. If you don't leave in a respectful way, time will come to let you go embarassed and .... just like other African leaders. You know what I mean. Be smart. GO AWAY! Give anotehr person a cahnce. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! You can not rule forever. Not fair.

Why do you hate this articulate, smart guy. If you have your views. Say it. That is the problem with dictator people like you. Does everyone has to agree with your opinion??? Your view largely depend on narrow and shallow minded. I can tell you are one of those people who benefited from Weyane corrupted way of doing business. Business only for Tigres! Everywhere you go. The so called Tigres monopolized every business. Remember there will be time for every power to go away. Don't be too comfortable.

I hate this man and consider him as one of a serious treat to Ethiopian stability and territorial integrity, he must be a paid agent. Is there any difference between the Egyptian Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis and this man, there is none, but they both are interesting as an entertainment of stupidity.

UNHCR REPORT...

The government has tended to favor Tigrayan ethnic interests in economic and political matters. Politics within the EPRDF have been dominated by the Tigrayan People's Liberation Front. Discrimination against other groups, especially the Oromo, has been widespread. According to the International Crisis Group, Ethiopia's federal system of government, which grants autonomy to the dominant ethnic group in each region, has increased tensions between communities. Repression of the Oromo and ethnic Somalis, and government attempts to co-opt their parties into subsidiaries of the EPRDF, have helped to fuel nationalism in both Oromiya and the Ogaden.

A "professor". The American are using you as slave, you are the most contempted figure I have ever heard of. First contribute something, then you can have a say, where were you? when Ethiopia was in chaos, during derg regime, when Ethiopians were fighting with Shabia? You don't count, forget about your title. Serve the American like a donkey. They are using you, the Americans are wise they dictate you and you lecture, and then to show that you are "elite" you bark at us. Wise American make you a teacher and they will have time to do R&D. If you are good, think rationally, accept what is right and oppose what is wrong. By the way why don't you accept the invitation by Ethiopian intellectuals to discuss on issues regarding Ethiopia.
