Until the Red-Terror generation who brought the country to the brink of collapse are shown the door out off Ethiopian politics, I don't believe we will see any change. This guy for example thinks he can solve Ethiopia's problem from his comfortable sofa in America and I am sure he can manage to convince some fools here in America to give his their hard earned money. But I don't believe people in Ethiopia can be fooled by this fat belly as they know what his goal is like all selfish red terror generation, power & money!

How do you believe a guy who lives a very comfortable life with his family can bring change in Ethiopia? HAs he ever done anything for the poor in Ethiopia? the answer is none. I admire and support people like Eskinder Nega who lead from the front. The red-terror generation, including this selfish pest on the other hand want the poor to die for him so he can fly back and ride his limousine to the palace. Ethiopia deserves leaders with real spine instead of this egocentric, megalomaniac and inconsiderate individuals like this man.
To those who say the Dr.is tebtaba: you guys just are just lying. He is an eloquent speaker. Have you seen him give speeches? He is great. However, this is an interview, a tough one at that. He is giving answers on the spot. Of course he has to think before he utters the words. He is talking about the economy, not some non sense you are good at.

Then Why do not you come on T.v and show us how to talk.If you are brought up in a mannerly way of talking you would not like Meles at all.He speaks like thug like a mother fucker. He is so unaware of the depth of his lawlessness he is not only boring he is sicking so are you.

I'm critical of Weyane regime. However, I dislike boring Tebtaba Birrhanu. Why can't he speak properly? i got depressed watching him struggling to speak out words. long interview finished with uhhhhhh....ummmmmm.. ooooooo.. waving hands allover. Al-mariam the same. I'm sure they are intelligent but why can't they speak words fluently without break-break interrupting waving hands. Meles (hate him or love him) expresses himself eloquently.

@0acd0564, You raise good point. I was eager to hear his reply regarding port of Asseb? All his reply for other questions was negative and he lose intellectual personality since most of his reply was political motivated and more of propaganda.

to the dude [0acd0564]
first listen the WHOLE interview OK. Dr. Berhanu talked and explained well about IMF and WORLD BANK. Don't open your mouth before even listening the interview OK!

BIRE CAN YOU REPLAY ME THOSE TWO QUETIONS
Bire, you said Oxford university sponsored by British government have studied to prove or disprove government report since they didn't trust govt report. let me accept you that. But Why they kept silent on IMF and World bank report if they were too much concerned on Ethiopian report why not ON IMF AND WORLD BANK? why didn't they said you are wrong we have checked it.
2. Every other year when British government announce countries who should get aid they have TWO important prerequisite/criteria/ 1. Economic performance on previous year and 2. proper utilization of previous year aid. Using this criteria they include or excluded countries. This year Ethiopia and Bangladesh got high point and already received huge amount of money while countries like Nigeria is excluded which is reported even on BBC. Bire, you may be the second intellectual person for the country next to meles but why all those lie and alubalta. Commentors please use your mind don't follow any thing you heard cause you hate woyane.
Better journalist than the rest of your ESAT coliques and ETV journalist but still far behind profossialism. I would be happy if you asked birhanu about Asab port on the first poletical part interview rather than asking whether he accept Eritrea as sovereign state or not. that is simple whether we like or not Eritrea is soverien state so he couldn't say you any thing only yes. but you better ask him, do we have the right to use asab with out paying ? I wonder what he would replay cause he blamed woyane on 97 pre election dialog he used to say woyane gave it to Eritrea if he repeat that he wouldn't get the support fro Eritrea if he say it belongs to Eritrea he will loss the trust of the Ethiopian people cause you know that you jumped it with simple question do you accept Eritrea as a nation or not.imao
