Hey Commentor below --- Don't be naive --- It is not about knowing "God" and end of histroy. It is not as such simple. On whose perspective are they going to teach them about God? You can not know God without a doctrine (definition, constituent and attribute of God). That is what differentiates us among one another and called a Protestant an Orthodox a Muslim a Hindu,... our belief about the concept of God itself is different and crusial part of our identity.

what is wrong if the kids thought to believe God. Knowing God is the most important thing.

Why do we quarrel all the time? Instead of encouraging and helping, why do we put a good doer down? It does not matter, whether one follows orthodox Christianity or protestant Christianity; what matters is loving and serving GOD ( THE FATHER, THE SON and THE HOLY SPIRIT). Jesus said " you called me lors. lord' but your heart is evil and does not worship me"
A follower of JESUS does not rejoice in wrong doing; and certainly ought not curse; because out of one mouth one can not bless and curse. One can not worship God and the devil at the same time. Every time we disobey the LORD, we are siding with the devil; and every time we do wrong, we are disobeying GOD. Sometime we all mean good; but if we look back and analyze what we are saying, it is full of hatred and pride. For GOD will humble the proud and lift up the humble.
Let us govern of our tongue; because it will consume us in sin.
Lastly, only love can conquer everything; the death of Jesus on the cross is the ultimate expression LOVE by GOD the Father. We are all sinners and we all need to repent of our ways and accept that free gift from GOD. Let us not make this vain world worse by accusing and putting each other down. Our enemy is not our brother or sister; our enemy is the devil. Let us not give in into his lies.

fara neh ... it is not easy to decide and change a belief when you become young. Once you are indoctrinated and brain washed into believing it when you are a child, it is almost impossible to deal with it ... it is human nature and difficulty...

if Orthodox is an Ancient Greek Culture, Protestantism is nothing but a constantly changing (medieval + modern) Western Culture. Protestant comes Westernization and culture of white worshiping follows.

These European Evangelists are looking for attention and followers that they fail to get in their countries. Western people give them their back thinking that it is senseless and backward. So they are looking for uneducated and poor people to Baptiste them and get the attention and audience that they lost if Europe. They are using their money and the poverty of our people as a means to spread their belief. REALLY SORRY!!!

This is not love of God, but it is an anticipation of getting some financial. It is not more than begging on the street for money. I sure some westerners are aware of this poor kids and try to exploit them. It is a shame, disgracefull. We Ethiopian have our language, and don't think the necessity to show stupid whites how much we able to song in English. This is Lutheran Scendinevian religion and historicaly they don`t belive in unity..they regroup themselves in smal fuctions..Originally the Mekaneyesus church is belongs to Norwegians..and Rev.Gudina Tumssa was the 1st sec.general of the church but becous of his younger brother Baro Tumssa involvment in politics (OLF) he was suspected by the Dergu and he assasinted in a daylight in 1979 in Addis Abeba. Eyesus Geta new !

My Ethiopian people Orthodox is not a religion it’s ancient Greek culture be aware of it and read bible doma hulu!! And try to follow Jesus, Son of God instead of following crazy Greek philosophers and mayim Ethiopian orthodox kesoch!!
